In what was one of the most shocking announcements in Washington Nationals history, Major League Baseball issued a release on Monday morning that the Nationals and Baltimore Orioles have agreed to a final resolution “of all issues related to the MASN dispute.”

That’s right. The Nationals’ TV rights nightmare is finally over.

The statement announces that 2025 will be the Nationals’ final season on MASN (operating under a new one-year contract), and the club is free to pursue alternative partners for the 2026 season and beyond. The statement also says that as as part of the final resolution, all past media rights disputes have been resolved and all litigation has been dismissed.
