Fans are already calling for blood. It's too early for that. But how long is long enough?
This isn’t a “fire Davey” article. This isn’t even a “fire Darnell Coles article.”
But the Nationals, fresh off a Spring Training where they were saying “the rebuild is over” to anyone in earshot, are now 1-5 coming off a sweep at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays. And while no one game was a blowout, the offense looked feckless for five-plus innings in all three games, leaning on solo home runs for most of their scoring.
